This is one of the most memorable days of your life. To make sure everything goes smoothly, please make sure you follow these guidelines:
Before the Ceremony:
- Complete all formalities: Please be sure that you have satisfied all the formalities and obtained all the necessary clearances.
- Obtain the convocation attire: You will receive instructions once you confirm your participation. Please ensure that all pieces of your clothing are in proper shape before the convocation day.
- The Robe will be issued during the convocation ceremony and must be returned immediately after the ceremony.
Before the Ceremony:
- Arrive on time:All Graduands to report at University Learning Centre (ULC) no later than 1.00pm to their designated classrooms on the convocation day and obtain your convocation robe. Punctuality is essential for all students and guests. Any graduating student who does not arrive on time will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony.
- Convocation Procession:All Graduands who report on time will be part of the convocation procession.
- Award of Gold Medals:The Gold Medal winning students will be invited on the main podium of the convocation ceremony for the award.
- Award of Degree Certificates:All other Graduands will receive their degrees from the specially created booths of your respective schools, once the main convocation ceremony is over. The Degree Certificates will be awarded by the respective Heads of Schools.
- Photographs and tours:This is your day. Once the formal ceremony ends, please feel free to make the best use of your time by taking pictures of your friends and batchmates or by giving a tour of the campus with your family and friends. Show them the institute that has helped you shape!
- Returning the robe:Convocation robes to be returned to the same place where you have got it, once the convocation ceremony is over and you receive your degree certificates.
