Your Guide to ADYPU Convocation 2024

Step into a new chapter of life. Your determination deserves a round of applause, and ADYPU is preparing to celebrate your graduation

However you plan to celebrate this day, make sure to follow these dos!

Guide for Students

• Graduates are to be present at the ADYPU Campus on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
• Punctuality is essential for all students and guests.
• Please ensure that your vehicles, if any, are parked in the parking lot only.
• Graduating students must register at the University Learning Centre (ULC) to collect their academic gowns, as indicated by the specified room number for their program. Gowns should be returned right after the event.
• Male students should wear formal attire and clean, dark shoes.
• Your respective coordinators will guide you to the Group Photo spot in the academic robes.
• After the group photos, please be seated at your allotted seats.
• Please pay close attention as your name gets announced to collect the degree awards.
• The Honorable President will read the pledge in English; all degree recipients must stand and recite the oath after him.

Guide for Parents

• The Convocation Ceremony is sacred, please maintain decorum and dignity befitting the occasion.
• Do not bring water bottles, juice cartons, and edible items to the venue.
• Please be seated at the venue by time.
• Children below 12 years are not allowed in the Convocation area.
• Everyone is requested to stand during the National Anthem.
• Professional photographers have been appointed to take your pictures during the ceremony.
